For the May 14, 2006 Synchronized National and Local Elections, the Education and Information Department (EID) of the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) shall need additional manpower to effectively implement its information activity plan.
3 COMPUTER GRAPHIC AND LAY-OUT ARTISTS
He/She shall be responsible for the design/layout of posters, pamphlets, and other information materials.
Qualifications:
- Must possess strong computer graphics skills (Photoshop; Macromedia Flash)
- Must be adept in Powerpoint
- Can work under pressure
- Willing to stay till the end of the election period
- Having his/her own computer is an advantage
3 WRITERS
He/She shall be responsible for drafting press releases, election-related articles, print reminders, plugs and other election campaign materials.
Qualifications:
- Preferably a graduate of A.B. Journalism or Mass Communication
- Adept in technical and creative writing
- Can work under pressure
- Willing to stay till the end of the election period
- Having his/her own computer is an advantage
2 WEB DESIGNERS
He/She shall be responsible for development and maintenance of the EID’s web site.
Qualifications:
- Must have strong web design skills
- Must be proficient with web design computer applications such as Dreamweaver
- Skill in web design is a must
- Can work under pressure
- Willing to stay till the end of the election period
- Having his/her own computer is an advantage
7 ADMINISTRATIVE PERSONNEL
He/She shall be tasked to provide clerical support to the department.
Qualifications:
- Must be hardworking & resourceful
- Skill in computer applications is an advantage
- Can work under pressure
- Willing to stay till the end of the election period
